1. New Bio-security Application for Australia
Spatial Vision contracted to develop the national BioSIRT
(Bio-security, Surveillance, Incident Response and Tracing)
computer application.

2. Spatial Vision's Hosted Web Services
Spatial Vision announces it's web hosting serviceseeking
to deliver web services tailored to our client's specific
business requirements.

3. SMap for Department of Human Services
Spatial Vision has enhanced the Victorian Dept
of Human Services's ArcIMS based intranet mapping tool, SMap,
to improve it's capacity for overlaying multiple demand, service
activity, funding and socio-economic data sets and assist
planning and service development.

4. North-west Vicmap Book and Data Now Available
Spatial Vision has released the North-west Vicmap
Book, the second in the Victoria-wide series of five topographic
map books. These books have now been adopted by all of Victoria’s
emergency services as well as supporting the State’s
emergency dispatch system.

5. Australasian All Hazards Symbology Project
The Intergovernmental Committee on Surveying and
Mapping (ICSM) has engaged Spatial Vision to develop a nationally
consistent Incident Management/Command System symbology catalogue.

6. Defining the Consequences of Wildfire on Statewide Assets
Spatial Vision (supported by Beca and RMIT) is
developing a methodology for assessing the consequences of
wildfire for Victorian assets for the Office of the Emergency
Services Commissioner, for use in strategic planning.

7. Mobile Shut-off Tool for Gippsland Water
Spatial Vision has completed a mobile network
tracing tool for field staff who require the ability to visualise
water shutoff blocks.

8. Mapping to Support Commonwealth Games
Spatial Vision provided A4 and A3 Venue mapping
to support the operations of the Emergency Services (most
notably Victoria Police) during the 2006 Commonwealth Games.

9. Field Mapping and Designing of Groundwater Meters
Spatial Vision has developed a mobile application
for Southern Rural Water field staff to plan and record meter
installations including not only their location, but also
a range of feature information and even site sketches.

10. EmerGeo GIS Deployed in Pilot WA Emergency Management
System
The Emergeo GIS suite was been selected for a pilot project
by the Fire and Emergency Services Authority (FESA) of Western
Australia.

11. Gold Coast City Council Deploys Emergeo GIS
Spatial Vision has deployed the suite of EmerGeo
products to support the Gold Coast City Council Disaster Management

Bill Hirst is responsible for the Australian Marine
Spatial Information System, and is required to respond to
