Spatial Vision is pleased to announce the appointment of
Elizabeth Marasco as our new Graduate Cadet for 2005. Elizabeth
graduated from RMIT’s School of Geospatial Sciences
in 2004.
During her time at RMIT, Elizabeth was a recipient of the
RMIT Environmental Sustainability Prize, and in her final
year, was President of the Geospatial Science Student Association.
Liz accumulated substantial work experience in local government,
academic research and consultant engineering. She also managed
to find time to travel throughout the Middle East and Asia
and lived and worked in Turkey for much of 2002.
Spatial Vision established the graduate cadetship to assist
graduates secure significant practical commercial experience
in the geospatial industry. The cadets provide Spatial Vision
with an opportunity to keep in touch with the ideas and perceptions
of young professionals and enhance our relationship with RMIT.
During her tenure at Spatial Vision, Elizabeth will be given
the opportunity to work on a range of cartographic and geospatial
projects to consolidate her technical skills and will learn
about projects from a commercial perspective.
