The Department of Education and Training has appointed Spatial
Vision to review the future demand for government primary
and secondary schools in the greater Ballarat region. This
project involves assessing demographic and housing development
trends, forecasting the number of school aged children and
likely government school selection rates for the next 15 years.
Spatial Vision will also review enrolment patterns and use
this information to develop long term enrolment estimates
for the 50 plus individual schools covered by the study.
Spatial Vision’s findings will be used to assess the
need for additional school infrastructure within the Ballarat
region over the next 10 to 15 years.
