Spatial Vision is working with heritage consultants, Context
Pty Ltd, to publish a series of maps illustrating the historic
development of the City of Stonnington in Victoria. Context
have been contracted to prepare a thematic environmental history
for the City. As part of the study report, a series of themes
were identified, including the natural environment, land development,
transport infrastructure and the making of a city. Spatial
Vision has assisted Context to map the themes to highlight
changes over the last 200 years.
To better visualise this important historical information,
Spatial Vision has developed an interactive CD format so the
user can select eras over the last 200 years and themes to
overlay. Context have delivered their final report to the
City in the interactive CD format.
