Spatial Vision's award winning topographic Vicmap Books covering
all of Victoria will soon be available in a digital raster
format that does not require an expensive GIS for access.
The Vicmap Book 'Interactive' DVD features state-wide
coverage of digital data in the popular OziExplorer format
and includes a free PC map viewer (OziExplorer Lite) as well
as a comprehensive set of the Vicmap Book 1:100,000/1:50,000
topographic maps as well as detailed maps of every township
in the State. All Vicmap Book maps are based on the latest
Government Vicmap digital information.
Using the supplied OziExplorer Lite viewer, the 'Interactive'
DVD includes comprehensive indexes to allow you to search
state-wide for streets, townships and localities. Using the
DVD, you can produce a wide variety of maps of any location
in the State.
You will also be able to install these maps on your OziExplorer-equipped
PDA or GPS and access our up-to-date high quality topographic
maps whilst actively touring regional Victoria.
Spatial Vision's Vicmap Book Interactive DVD will be available
direct from Spatial Vision, or from leading map and GPS retailers
from early December 2007.
