Spatial Vision is a strong supporter of a standards-based approach to software development, and information integration and management. Such an approach encompasses two areas: the adoption of common standards in terms of communication and interoperability protocols, and the use of industry best practice design and development methodologies.
Many of our projects have been implemented using open standards to maximise their potential for information sharing.
Spatial Vision conducts its projects using a well defined management methodology, based on PRINCE2. This is the de facto project management standard for the service delivery of services.
Spatial Vision operates a quality assurance system fully integrated with the company’s Business Management System (BMS). Spatial Vision’s BMS has been certified as compliant with the ISO 9001:2008 standard for the provision of geospatial systems, data and analysis services and products by BSI Pty Ltd.
We are currently pursuing implementation of ISO 14000 environmental management standards.
