The 7th edition of the well known Jacaranda Atlas recently took out second place at the International Cartographic Associations international conference in Paris.
The staff of both Spatial Vision and John Wiley and Sons are extremely proud to receive such an award, which is testament to the hard work and dedication of all the staff involved in the production process.
The cartography in the atlas was produced by the cartographic staff at Spatial Vision. Most of the 400-plus maps were produced from scratch by the team in a nine month schedule using the latest available data sources covering a wide range of topics.
The Jacaranda Atlas also won the Australian Geography Teachers Association (AGTA) award for Best Atlas 2010. http://www.agta.asn.au/awards2010/index.htm
