Spatial Vision’s Vicmap Books have been an integral resource for Victoria’s emergency services over the past four years and were heavily used throughout the 2009 fires.

In partnership with DSE and CFA, Spatial Vision produced the much improved Central and North West Edition 2 Vicmap Books prior to the 2008/09 fire season, during which the infamous Black Saturday fires took place.

Spatial Vision has made a submission to the Victorian Bushfire Royal Commission addressing some of the data issues relating to the Vicmap Book updating process and observations regarding emergency service adoption and implementation.
