Making way for the new Outdoors - First Edition - Northern Grampians Outdoor Recreation Guide

E-mail Print

Spatial Vision is about to launch a new Outdoor Recreation Guide. Each Recreation Guide is packed with visitor information including touring routes and attractions, also main walks, with detail relating to distance, duration and level of difficulty.

The new Outdoor Recreation Guide will replace the older Outdoor Leisure Series previously produced by the Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE). The new Outdoor Recreation Guides will become a series covering key touring locations around the state. The first guide in this series is the Northern Grampians followed closely by the Southern Grampians and then Wilsons Promontory.

Each Guide comprises a colour topographic map of the area and has been field checked. The Guides are produced with the assistance of Parks Victoria, local Shires and other parties.

The full colour, double sided publications are supplied folded to a handy size of 135mm by 250mm and can be purchased from Visitor Information Centres and some newsagents in the region as well as from good map stores in Melbourne. These Guides complement Spatial Vision's highly successful Touring and Walking Guides produced over recent years.
