The creation of maps has long been a marriage of art and science. A visual representation of a place or a region, a map’s principal task is to communicate information. Anybody can produce a map (especially with the tools available to them today) but specialist expertise is required to create effective cartographic products.
Spatial Vision has advanced skills in cartographic communication and publishing that allows us to create engaging and informative visualisations. We produce a broad range of paper and digital products as both stand alone published products or as components of a larger project. Through the implementation of multimedia Spatial Vision takes pride in delivering multimedia solutions that take more traditional cartography a step further by enabling organisations to present geospatial and other information in an environment optimised for human interaction.
The breadth of our services work ranges from the provision of large scale wall or fire tower maps for the emergency services, community engagement atlases for water authorities, and directories of asset for utility companies, through to large interpretative displays for park managers, map series optimised for web use concerning boating activities, or culturally and environmentally sensitive areas, and interactive DVDs of emergency management plans that include significant map content.
