Walks of the Otways & Apollo Bay - A Spatial Vision Walk Guide

E-mail Print

The Great Ocean Road is one of Victoria’s most popular tourist destinations, offering a vast array of leisure and recreation activities. Filled with unique and spectacular scenery, it is no surprise that one of the most popular pastimes is bushwalking along the region’s many forest and coastal trails.

Spatial Vision has gained significant expertise and experience in developing and producing tourism-oriented commercial map products. A close working relationship with many state bodies, such as Parks Victoria, the Department of Sustainability and Environment, and Tourism Victoria, gives Spatial Vision the leading edge when it comes to gaining access to the most up-to-date, relevant, and accurate information and resources needed to produce a successful and well-received publication.

The Walks of the Otways and Apollo Bay is the second Spatial Vision walking guide. It extends the Great Ocean Road Series of publications, which includes the Walks of Lorne and Airey’s Inlet, and The Great Ocean Road Touring Guide. It is aimed at families, tourists and recreational visitors to the region, contains useful information about key walking attractions and covers a variety of walks of different lengths and difficulties. In addition to being an accurate and useful map product, it has been designed to act as a souvenir publication.

Developed in consultation with the relevant authorities and management personnel, the guide includes each of the significant walks and attractions around Apollo Bay and Otway National Park.

The maps in the walking guide have been drawn from Spatial Vision’s earlier Great Ocean Road Touring Guide, updated where necessary. The guide has been very well received and will be followed by others in the series in the near future.
